Records from the original Mission as well as from St. John's Holy Cross Episcopal Church at Crow Wing are on MHS microfilm (MN 107). Known burials - German peddler murdered at Gull Lake in 1857, Rev. Notes :  Used from 1850 - 1873. At least 19 known burials. Burial records are on MHS microfilm MN 107. In 1868, the White Earth Reservation was formed and the Indians relocated there. In 1872, the new town of Brainerd became the county seat, and the town of Crow Wing was gradually abandoned.
