master list of all cemeteries in the state of Minnesota as well as a statewide inventory
of available cemetery resources such as transcriptions and indexes."
The Crow Wing County Genealogical Society participated in this effort in 2002. Our research results are available here:
The Crow Wing County survey results are available in hard-copy form at the Minnesota Genealogical Society Library.
The largest cemetery in Crow Wing County is Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd (not to be confused with a much smaller Evergreen Cemetery in Center Township). It has over 17,000 burials - several times more than all other Crow Wing cemeteries combined.
The Evergreen Cemetery Association has a computerized burial index covering both its cemeteries, and it is available online in the "Directory of the Dead" section of their website.
